David Rusk

Anaesthetic Consultant

After growing up in Whangarei, David undertook his undergraduate medical training in Dunedin and Christchurch in the late 1990’s. His post-graduate anaesthetic training was based in the Wellington region. In 2008, he moved to Melbourne, and completed two anaesthetic fellowships at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and Royal Childrens Hospital respectively. His anaesthetic sub-specialties are difficult airway management and paediatric anaesthesia.

Apart from being passionate about clinical excellence, David is also a keen educator, and has published in two journals. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, cycling, and spending time with his family.
